Client Services Associate

Margaret Waruingi has over 25 years of experience in escrow and real estate financing.  In addition, she has worked as a real estate agent, notary, life and health insurance agent, and financial advisor, with the Series 7, Series 66 credentials. She served on the board of the Alameda County Escrow Association.  ​

Margaret embraces her role assisting clients and welcoming them to the office. As Client Services Associate, her warm, welcoming, and outgoing demeanor greatly contributes to the kind and supportive environment of Emily's team. 

Margaret was born in New York City and grew up in Los Angeles, Oklahoma City, and Atlanta.  She graduated from UCSB with a B.A. in economics.  Prior to relocating to Santa Cruz in 2011 where she currently lives with her daughter and her dog, Margaret lived in Seattle and the Bay Area. Margaret has a profound appreciation for the ocean and the redwoods.  

Margaret's passions include live music, art, comedy, and adventures with her daughter in the United States, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Zanzibar.  She has been an Elks Lodge member for the last 5 years, which gives her a wonderful opportunity to give back to her community.
